Ao no Za has 25 lake-facing rooms across Suite Resort, Suite Sky Resort, Suite Villa and Executive Suite Villa, from 100 to 270 m². Every official room has an outdoor private onsen and a separate indoor jet bath; the indoor jet bath is not onsen. Ao no Za has no on-site public bath. The author has not stayed at Ao no Za. Map the real party to one official suite family
Enter the real dates, room count, adults and every child's age before comparing suites. The official inventory contains 25 lake-facing rooms in four families, but that does not prove that every physical variant appears for every date or party on Trip.com.
Choose one complete family by capacity, bedding, floor and mobility needs. A public room card, base-room number or maximum occupancy does not create a sleeping surface for an unaccepted guest.

Match exact identity and the full English room label
The booking identity is Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Bessou Ao No Za, property ID 28338154, at Shikotsuko Onsen in Chitose. A capitalization difference in No or no is not another hotel, but a hotel list, review-only screen or another property ID is a hard stop.
Nine English Trip.com room labels were visible at the research time. They split floors, bed forms and areas inside the four official families. Re-map the complete label for the actual dates instead of treating a provider base-room value as a permanent SKU or room number.

Resolve every third, fourth and fifth guest's bed
Current Trip.com cards showed fewer sleeping surfaces than the official maximum in several families. The 140 m² Suite Villa showed three beds against an official maximum of four, while the visible Executive card showed three beds against a maximum of five.
Trip.com also says no crib or extra bed can be added, while official pages use Extra Bed in the standard family wording. These statements may refer to preconfigured versus newly requested bedding. Do not declare either source wrong; require the complete rate and written hotel answer to agree for the actual party.
Keep the outdoor private onsen separate from the indoor jet bath
Every official room has an outdoor private onsen and a separate indoor jet bath. The official hot-spring page explicitly says the indoor jet bath is not onsen, so it must not be described as a second hot-spring bath.
Lake-facing does not promise an unobstructed angle, weather, sunrise, sunset or visibility from a particular bath position. Confirm a specific view, bath dimension, handrail or transfer requirement in writing before paying.
Ao no Za has no on-site public bath
The official FAQ says there is no on-site public bath at Ao no Za. The in-room outdoor private onsen is the fixed bathing entitlement within the selected suite contract.
Guests may currently request use of the large public bath at sister property Mizu No Uta, but that is another property, route and operating rule. Do not treat it as an on-site facility or unconditional Trip.com inclusion when its date, request, transport, hours and admission conditions are unconfirmed.
Resolve the breakfast conflict inside the selected rate
Official cuisine pages describe seasonal kaiseki dinner in private dining rooms and a Japanese breakfast. The checked English Trip.com page also listed a restaurant for breakfast and dinner, yet its breakfast FAQ said the hotel does not provide breakfast.
That contradiction cannot be solved by choosing the favorable sentence. Require the selected rate, checkout and confirmation to agree on dinner, breakfast, every adult and child, venue, time, dietary handling, included drinks and local charges.
Enter every child and treat accessibility as a full route
Official and Trip.com pages welcome children without a hotel age restriction, but that does not mean free stay, free meals, free bedding or capacity above the selected suite. Enter every child's real age, meal and bedding needs before comparing totals.
An elevator and a large suite do not prove a step-free route, accessible toilet, bath transfer, handrail or evacuation support. The Executive family is a maisonette across the third and fourth floors. Obtain written confirmation for the exact room and full route when mobility or other access support is required.

Reserve the shared shuttle or Executive vehicle separately
The official shared shuttle serves JR Chitose Station, New Chitose Airport and Ao no Za on a fixed timetable with limited seats. The access page says five days before check-in, while the FAQ says 19:00 three days in advance. Do not publish one universal deadline; only an accepted reservation proves the exact run and party.
Executive Suite Villa guests may request a separate airport vehicle, but the hotel says it may be unable to arrange one. That option is not automatic and does not transfer to another family. A room confirmation and a free-transfer icon are not transport confirmations.
Confirm parking and both taxes outside the headline price
Official FAQ confirms free parking but does not complete capacity, on-site or off-site location, reservation, vehicle limits, charging or arrival procedure. Trip.com's current public, off-site and no-reservation labels are provider metadata, not an official operating guarantee.
Hokkaido accommodation tax applies in tiered per-person, per-night amounts, and Chitose's current overnight bathing tax is JPY 150 per person per day. Do not infer whether either amount is included or locally collected. Use the actual stay, guest and checkout breakdown.
Close with payment and cancellation, then keep one suite
The public Trip.com property page displayed pay-at-hotel wording but did not complete collector, currency, prepayment, incidental hold or refund timing for one selected rate. Official direct-booking card brands and cancellation penalties do not replace Trip.com's rate-level contract.
Stop until checkout and confirmation state display and settlement currency, collector, payment timing, total, locally collected items, refundability, cancellation deadline and time zone, and no-show terms. Save the suite and transport confirmations separately, then remove any duplicate Lake Shikotsu room for the same night.

Official pages say every room has an outdoor private onsen. Each room also has a separate indoor jet bath that the official page explicitly marks as not onsen.
