Kohaku no Sho rooms: Twin, Quadruple or Deluxe Twin?
Choose one Kohaku no Sho room by party, beds, area and bath wording, then verify meals, shuttle, taxes, payment and cancellation in the complete Trip.com rate.
Check the exact booking option
Choose the complete room by the real party and bed plan. The official inventory has three families: Twin at 51–61 m², Quadruple at 77 m² and Deluxe Twin at 78–85 m². The current English Trip.com page also exposes a first-floor Private Garden Twin sublabel, but a garden does not establish an open-air bath or lake view. Official sources say all 24 rooms have a private onsen bath and that there is no public bath in the main building. The author has not stayed at Kohaku no Sho. Enter the actual dates, room count and every guest's real age, then verify the complete selected rate and confirmation.
Check the exact booking optionThe author has not stayed at Kohaku no Sho. Current property facts come from official Tsuruga sources, while the purchase contract must come from the complete selected Trip.com rate, checkout and confirmation.

This owned record establishes one stay at a different Lake Shikotsu property. It is not a Kohaku no Sho stay, room inspection, private-onsen use, meal, shuttle ride, parking experience or Trip.com order.

This separate winter visit gives regional timing and cold-weather context only. It proves no Kohaku room, bath, meal, transport, road, weather or current event condition.
This guide contains clearly marked affiliate links. If you complete an eligible booking after following one, this site may earn a commission. Check the final payable amount and conditions on the provider screen. The linked product is not the author’s own stay.
Fix the real party before choosing a room family
Enter the real dates, room count, adults and every child's age before comparing rooms. The property opened on 10 August 2026 with 24 rooms, but an opening date and static room page do not prove inventory for the selected night.
Choose one complete room rather than a property-level promise. Capacity, bed use, child treatment, meals, taxes, payment and cancellation must survive from the room card through checkout and confirmation.
| Official family | Official area | Current English Trip.com wording | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Twin | 51–61 m² | Twin Room with Private Onsen Bath | Bed width, view or open-air form |
| Quadruple | 77 m² | Quadruple Room with Private Onsen Bath | Automatic acceptance of every child or meal |
| Deluxe Twin | 78–85 m² | Deluxe Twin with two beds and a sofa bed | Sofa activation or extra occupancy |
| Provider sublabel | 51 m² shown | Private Garden Twin, first floor | Lake view or open-air bath |
Match property ID, name and both postcode displays
Use Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Bessou Kohaku no Sho with Trip.com property ID 133686865 as the booking identity. The official English title contains a Besson spelling anomaly while its own property block and the exact Trip.com page use Bessou; do not treat the spelling difference as another hotel.
The official address uses postcode 066-0281, while the checked English Trip.com page displayed 066-6281. Do not silently resolve the conflict. Confirm the reception, navigation destination, telephone number and parking entrance with the property before relying on a map route.

This site may receive a commission if a qualifying reservation is completed. It is not official direct booking, the author's stay or proof of a named room, open-air bath, lake view, meals, shuttle seat, parking procedure, taxes, payment or cancellation.
Enter the actual dates, room count and every guest's real age. Keep property ID 133686865, the complete room name, area, floor, beds, sofa use, occupancy, private-onsen wording, garden or view wording, meals, total, taxes, payment and cancellation visible together through confirmation. A property-level hot-spring icon cannot assign an open-air form or lake view to an unnamed room.
Keep the three official families separate from dated provider cards
The official inventory defines Twin, Quadruple and Deluxe Twin families. The current English Trip.com page showed those plus a Private Garden Twin sublabel. That fourth card is dated provider inventory, not proof of a fourth permanent official family.
Match the complete room name, area, floor, bed count, sofa use, occupancy and non-smoking status. If a required field disappears at checkout, stop rather than joining fragments from different cards or locales.
Private onsen does not establish an open-air bath or lake view
Official sources state that all 24 rooms have a private onsen bath and identify the spring as bicarbonate. They do not define every bath as open-air, semi-open-air, indoor, jet, free-flowing or lake-facing.
A garden, balcony, window, hot-spring icon or property photograph cannot fill that gap. Require the complete room description and matching written answer when bath form or view is a non-negotiable condition.
The main building has no public bath
The official English onsen section says there is no public bath in the main building. The private onsen inside the selected room is therefore the relevant confirmed bathing contract for this property.
Do not import Ao No Za's room design, Mizu No Uta's shared baths or Suizantei's facilities into Kohaku no Sho. A brand relationship or nearby property does not create a reciprocal bathing right.
Separate the property's meals from the selected rate
Official pages describe a fermentation- and aging-focused kaiseki dinner and a Japanese breakfast with a half buffet. Those services exist at the property, but that does not prove that both meals are included in every English Trip.com rate.
The checked provider page did not expose one concrete selected rate with complete meal terms. Confirm dinner, breakfast, portions, every guest, child meals, times, dietary response, drinks and local charges in the actual rate and confirmation.
Enter every child and verify beds and access needs
Trip.com currently says children of all ages are welcome, existing-bed fees may apply and no room type accepts an added crib or extra bed. Welcome does not mean free, over-capacity occupancy or an included child meal.
The checked public sources do not provide a complete accessible route. An elevator alone does not confirm doors, bath steps, handrails, dining access or shuttle boarding. Obtain a written room-and-route answer for any required support.

Confirm the shuttle and parking outside the room order
The official Japanese access page lists a scheduled Chitose Station and New Chitose Airport shuttle that requires reservation by 19:00 three days before use. A room confirmation or provider transfer icon is not an accepted seat, private transfer or flight connection.
A first-party post-opening article confirms that free parking is available. It does not complete the entrance, location, capacity, vehicle limits, winter procedure or valet process. Confirm those details and the shuttle run separately from the room.
Calculate accommodation and bathing taxes from the real stay
Hokkaido's accommodation tax applies from 1 April 2026 in tiered per-person, per-night amounts based on the taxable lodging charge. Chitose's standard overnight bathing tax is JPY 150 per person per day, with one overnight stay counted as one day under the current city page.
Do not infer whether either tax is included in Trip.com's total or collected locally. Use the stay date, taxable lodging amount, every guest's age, checkout breakdown, confirmation and property answer before recording the final total.
Close with payment and cancellation, then keep one room
The current property-level Trip.com page displayed Paying at the hotel — Cash, but no complete selected rate was available. That label does not prove every rate is cash-only, pay-at-property or free of prepayment, deposit, currency conversion or card requirements.
Stop until the complete rate states display and settlement currency, collector, payment timing, total, locally collected items, refundability, cancellation deadline and time zone, and no-show terms. Save the final room and shuttle confirmations separately, then remove any duplicate Lake Shikotsu room for the same night.

Hotel comparison FAQ
Has the author stayed at Kohaku no Sho?
No. The author stayed at Shikotsuko Daiichi Hotel Suizantei, a different property, and visited Lake Shikotsu on a separate winter trip. Those records establish regional context only.
Does every Kohaku no Sho room have a private onsen?
Official sources say all 24 rooms have a private onsen bath. That does not establish an open-air form, lake view, floor or identical bath design for every room.
Is there a public bath in the main building?
The official English onsen section says there is no public bath in the main building. Do not import a shared-bath right from another Tsuruga property.
Does a room reservation confirm the airport shuttle?
No. The official scheduled shuttle requires an advance reservation and an accepted run. Keep the room and shuttle as separate confirmations.
Are the four current English Trip.com cards the permanent room inventory?
No. The official site defines three room families, while the provider cards depend on date, party and locale. Use the complete dated room and confirmation.
Recheck room inventory, taxes, dining, transport and cancellation with the provider before payment and departure.
