Begin only after deciding to spend the same night in Jozankei and making an in-room natural hot spring a real requirement. Grand Blissen qualifies only when the complete selected room name explicitly retains the in-room hot-spring-view bath; its 25㎡ Standard Twin is shower-only and excluded. Chalet Ivy describes 26 natural-onsen suites, but that does not make every bath open-air or every view, tub and floor identical. The author has stayed at neither target. Compare equal dates, guests, meals, taxes, transport and cancellation, then keep one room.

Suizantei Club Jozankei — the author stayed at a third property

The author stayed at Suizantei Club on a separate winter trip and experienced that room bath and two meals. It is not Grand Blissen, Chalet Ivy, either target’s room, bath, meal, transport, service, current operation or Trip.com order.

Futami Suspension Bridge — the author walked through Jozankei on another day

The author walked through the hot-spring town to Futami Suspension Bridge on another visit and encountered autumn traffic. This is not either target stay or a guarantee of room view, foliage, snow, road, path or bus conditions on your dates.

First-hand evidence is limited to one stay at a third Jozankei property and one separate town walk. Grand Blissen and Chalet Ivy identity, rooms, baths, dining and access come from their current first-party pages. This guide does not reopen Sapporo city, a day-use onsen or Lake Shikotsu. Begin after choosing the same night in Jozankei and deciding that an in-room natural hot spring is a real requirement rather than a decorative hotel-level icon.

Use equal check-in and check-out dates, room count and every guest’s real age. Compare only complete eligible rooms, equal meals and equal cancellation. Keep both tabs while checking, but keep only one room for the same night before payment.

Thirty-second answer: qualifying Grand bath room or Chalet natural-onsen suite

Start with Grand when a complete hot-spring-view-bath room and the separately reserved Sapporo guest bus fit the route. Grand does not qualify through the property’s common bath or its Standard Twin; the exact selected room must carry the bath entitlement.

Start with Chalet when a 67–137㎡ suite with an in-room natural onsen fits the group and stay style. That is not a quality ranking. It is a contract comparison between one verifiable room on each side.

Owned Jozankei evidence is real, but it belongs to a third hotel and another walk

The author stayed at Suizantei Club on a separate winter trip and separately walked through Jozankei to Futami Suspension Bridge. Those experiences help explain why room rights, dinner time and local transport deserve separate confirmation.

The author stayed at neither Grand Blissen nor Chalet Ivy. A third-hotel bath cannot prove either target bath, and the bridge photograph cannot prove a room view, foliage, snow, road, trail or bus condition for your dates.

Build a fair Trip.com comparison before reading the total

Open the two exact property pages with identical dates, room count and real ages. Match the property ID, name and address before opening full room cards. Ignore homepage teaser prices, rankings, ratings and random-date availability.

Align capacity, beds, bath entitlement, meals, children, taxes, payment and cancellation. If one side has dinner and breakfast and the other is room-only, or one is non-refundable, they are not equivalent. Mark the mismatch instead of calling the smaller headline number cheaper.

Grand rooms: the 25㎡ Standard Twin is explicitly outside this comparison

Grand’s official room page separates hot-spring-view-bath Twin, Luxury, Japanese-Western and Universal categories from the 2F 25㎡ Standard Twin. The 25㎡ Standard Twin has a shower stall and no in-room hot-spring-view bath.

The complete selected room name must explicitly retain the in-room hot-spring-view bath. A lower price, a common hot spring, a property icon or unavailable qualifying inventory cannot promote Standard Twin into the left-hand candidate.

Grand meals and bus are separate from the room confirmation

The official dining pages describe dinner and breakfast, but they do not add the same meals to every Trip.com rate. Confirm the meal count, venue, children’s meals, allergy or cross-contact limitations, arrival deadline and drinks in the selected rate and matching written reply.

The Sapporo Station north-exit guest bus requires a separate reservation and confirmed seat and can fill. Recheck the current deadline and stop. Room, meal and bus are three confirmations; none should be inferred from the other.

Chalet suites: natural onsen does not mean identical open-air baths or views

Chalet’s official material describes 26 suites with natural onsen and separates Deluxe, Corner, Deluxe Corner and two-bedroom Premium layouts. Capacity, beds, bedrooms and the 67–137㎡ areas belong to the complete suite, not to the property name alone.

The statement about 26 suites with natural onsen does not mean every bath is open-air or every view, tub and floor is identical. It also does not guarantee autumn color, snow or a particular direction. Keep only what the complete suite and confirmation preserve.

Chalet dining and transport need their own written match

ZUI dining and dietary requests have their own advance conditions, and Chef’s Table is a separate paid reservation. A room name does not buy a particular dinner, dining seat, beverage or accommodation for every allergy.

Chalet’s access information distinguishes public transport from a separately arranged paid private vehicle. Neither is Grand’s guest bus. A room booking is not a bus seat or a confirmed private vehicle, so store the transport confirmation separately.

Compare the real total: room, meals, tax, transport and cancellation

Set the same display and payment currency, then compare the tax-inclusive checkout total for equal guests, meals and cancellation. Check card charge currency and issuer terms, Hokkaido accommodation tax, any bathing tax or on-site amount, children, dietary supplements and transport.

Do not freeze a price, discount, rating, review count, inventory warning or seasonal view in this guide. A complimentary bus still needs a valid seat, while a larger suite does not by itself prove a higher or lower per-person cost.

Final gate: save one room confirmation and one transport confirmation

Before payment, match the property ID, English name, full address, complete room, bath wording, capacity, beds, meals, taxes, payment and cancellation. For Grand, stop if the qualifying bath disappears. For Chalet, do not turn natural onsen into an unverified open-air or view promise.

Choose one property, keep one room and remove the duplicate for the same night. Save the room confirmation separately from the bus or private-vehicle confirmation, and reopen current official operating information before departure.

Are all 26 Chalet Ivy suite baths open-air with the same view?

How do I prevent the wrong room or a duplicate booking?

Search equal dates and real ages, align meals and cancellation, and read the complete room name. If no qualifying Grand room exists, remove that side rather than substituting Standard Twin. Once one property is confirmed, cancel or release the other room for the same night.
