Nozo Hotel or Shin Furano Prince Hotel? Choose One Ski Base

Choose one Furano ski night: Nozo in Kitanomine or Shin Furano Prince in the Furano Zone. Match the same room, bath, breakfast, ski route, transport, taxes, total and cancellation.

Compare both booking options
The author's own Hokkaido ski photograph, not Nozo Hotel or Shin Furano Prince Hotel
The author has separate Hokkaido ski-planning experience and an early-summer Biei visit but stayed at neither target. This is not either room, bath, ski zone, lift condition or Trip.com order.

Nozo Hotel and Shin Furano Prince Hotel put the same Furano night in different bases. Start with Nozo when the stay belongs in Kitanomine and a compact hotel room, shared bathing area and ski locker fit the plan. Start with Shin Furano Prince when the stay belongs in Nakagoryo and the Furano Zone is the deliberate base. Search the same real dates, room count and every guest's age before comparing.

TWO OWNED REGIONAL RECORDS / ZERO STAYS AT EITHER HOTELThe author knows separate Hokkaido travel, not either hotel stay

Each record proves only the named ski-planning experience or Biei visit. The author stayed at neither target and has not tested either room, bath, breakfast, locker, ski route, transport, service or Trip.com order.

Hokkaido ski trip — the author's first-hand planning record

The author has first-hand Hokkaido ski, equipment and transfer experience. It is not a stay at either target and proves no Furano room, bath, locker, breakfast, lift operation, snow condition or Trip.com order.

Biei Blue Pond — the author visited on a separate trip

The author visited Biei Blue Pond in early summer. It supplies only wider regional context, not Kitanomine, Nakagoryo, either hotel, winter conditions, service, transport or booking proof.

First-hand evidence is limited to a separate Hokkaido ski-planning record and a separate early-summer Biei visit. The author stayed at neither target. Current property, room, shared-bath, access and ski-zone boundaries come from official pages; live inventory, meals, taxes, payment and cancellation come from the complete selected Trip.com rate and matching confirmation.

01

Fix one night and one traveller set

Write down the real check-in and check-out dates, room count, every guest's age, required beds, smoking requirement, breakfast need, ski equipment, arrival point, next departure and latest acceptable cancellation deadline. Use those same inputs on both specified property pages. A result for different guests, meals or refund terms is a different contract.

Keep both pages open only while comparing. Before payment, retain one property for the same travellers and night. Two reservations create two payment, cancellation and no-show risks; one order does not automatically cancel the other.

02

The 30-second answer

Choose Nozo first when the night belongs in Kitanomine and the required contract is a conventional hotel room with a shared hot and cold bathing area, sauna and ski locker. The official room inventory is compact and specific; if a bathtub is essential, the complete selected room controls that decision.

Choose Shin Furano Prince first when Nakagoryo and the Furano Zone belong at the centre of the stay. The official ski source separates the Furano Zone from the Kitanomine Zone and states that operations can change with snow, weather and light. A hotel room does not guarantee a lift, run, pass, lesson, rental or return route.

Enter the real dates, room count and every guest's age. Confirm property ID 110029424, 14-38 Kitanomine-cho, the complete room, beds, capacity, area, shower or bathtub, shared-spa access, breakfast, taxes, final total, payment and cancellation. The official room table checked on 2026-09-13 listed a bathtub for the Junior Suite; the other seven types said shower. Sugi Spa was described as a shared hot-spring-like experience, not proof of natural spring water or an in-room onsen. After choosing Nozo, remove Prince for the same night.

03

Firsthand boundary: a ski trip and Biei visit, zero target stays

The author has first-hand Hokkaido ski-planning, equipment and transfer experience. She also photographed Biei Blue Pond on a separate early-summer trip. Those records can remind a traveller that skis, boots, bags and winter connections take more time than an ordinary town transfer.

They do not establish a stay at Nozo or Shin Furano Prince, a Kitanomine or Furano Zone run, either entrance, room, bed, view, bath, breakfast, locker, lift, parking, cleanliness, soundproofing or Trip.com order. The owned photographs must not be read as images of either target property or as travel-date snow evidence.

04

Confirm two different property identities

For Nozo, match Trip.com property ID 110029424, the English name Nozo Hotel and the official address 14-38 Kitanomine-cho, Furano. A Furano hotel list, a similarly named room or a ski photograph is not enough to establish the property being sold.

For Shin Furano Prince, match property ID 704148, the English property name retained by the sales page and the official Nakagoryo, Furano address. Do not confuse it with an unrelated Prince property or a generic resort listing. Stop if the property ID, name, address, complete room card and confirmation do not describe the same place.

05

Choose the ski zone before the room

Put the arrival terminal, baggage plan, first lift, intended return route, dinner and next departure on one timeline. The Furano Ski Resort official page separates Furano Zone and Kitanomine Zone, connected at the top by a common trail when operating. That map relationship is not a promise that the connection, every lift or every trail will run on the stay date.

Nozo places the room contract in Kitanomine; Shin Furano Prince places it in Nakagoryo by the Furano Zone. Check the route in both directions, especially for a last run, beginner, child, non-skier or bad-weather day. If the return depends on a lift, shuttle or taxi, keep a separately confirmed fallback before choosing the hotel.

06

Nozo: match one of eight complete room types

The Nozo official room page checked on 2026-09-13 listed eight types. Superior Queen, Superior King, Superior Twin, Deluxe King, Deluxe Twin, Family Room and Family Room with Bunk Bed each listed a bathroom with shower. The Junior Suite listed two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. Match the complete room name, beds, capacity, area and bathroom wording.

A property photograph, private-bathroom icon or Junior Suite card cannot move a bathtub to another room. View, floor, sofa bed, bunk bed and capacity also belong to the selected room. If the complete room becomes Run of House or another unresolved category, do not assume the eight-room table tells you which contract will be assigned.

07

Nozo: Sugi Spa is shared and its wording matters

The official Sugi Spa page checked on 2026-09-13 described a hot-spring-like experience with separate men's and women's bathing areas, hot and cold baths and sauna rooms. It did not establish a private in-room onsen. Keep the shared spa separate from the selected room's own shower or bathtub.

The same page says hours are subject to change. Recheck travel-date access, maintenance, age, tattoo and health rules. Do not convert an amenity icon or the phrase hot-spring-like into a claim about a natural spring source, universal admission or a specific therapeutic result.

08

Shin Furano Prince: room, floor and view are separate

The Prince official room page checked on 2026-09-13 separated Twin Rooms, Double Rooms, Upper Floor Twin Room (Town Side), Suite Rooms and a Workcation Room. Match the complete room name, beds or sofa bed, capacity, area, floor, smoking status, bathroom and precise side or view wording shown in the selected rate.

A general statement about seasonal Furano scenery does not give every room the same mountain or town view. Upper floor, town side, Tokachidake wording, suite and non-smoking status are not interchangeable. If a view or bed layout is essential, require it in the full rate and matching confirmation.

09

Shin Furano Prince: the hot spring is a separate facility

The current official page identifies Furano Hot Spring Shisai no Yu as a shared facility and lists hotel-guest hours separately. It also lists a hotel-guest charge of JPY 800 for adults and JPY 500 for children aged 4–12 as checked on 2026-09-13. These figures and hours can change, so recheck them for the stay.

The shared facility is not an in-room private onsen, and a room card does not establish admission without a separate charge. Confirm access, current charge, age, tattoo, cleaning and health rules separately. If bathing is a purchase requirement, include the actual applicable charge in the same-currency total before choosing.

10

Lift, locker and transport are separate contracts

Nozo's official facilities identify a dedicated ski locker, but storage does not buy a lift pass, lesson, rental, shuttle or operating run. Its access page gives public-transport and driving examples and warns of winter delays. Recheck the actual timetable, reservation, stop, luggage rule and travel time.

For Shin Furano Prince, a slope-side setting does not replace the official snow report or the selected day's lift status. Confirm the outward route and the return route, then keep separate evidence for transport, pass, lesson and equipment. Neither hotel confirmation automatically books the other items.

11

Compare the final total, not a starting card

Use one display and payment currency, then record the tax-inclusive final checkout total for the same travellers, room standard, meal level and cancellation tier. Add current Hokkaido and Furano accommodation taxes, any genuinely applicable bathing tax or Shisai no Yu charge, parking, airport or station transport, luggage and required ski transfers.

Save the payment timing, cancellation deadline, local time zone, no-show rule and property-collected amounts. Do not turn a crossed-out price, discount badge, remaining-room message, snow report or lift schedule into an evergreen promise. One hotel's flexible rate does not make the other flexible.

12

Keep one complete confirmation

Read the retained order from top to bottom: property ID, formal name, address, dates, room, guests and ages, beds, smoking status, bathroom, shared-bath right and charge, meals, taxes, total, payment, cancellation, ski zone and transport plan. A room is ready only when those details form one consistent contract.

Cancel or remove the other hotel for the same night according to its own terms, and save the cancellation result. Recheck the selected hotel, bath, transport and lift operations shortly before travel because schedules, facility hours, road conditions, snow and operating rules can change.

FAQ

Hotel comparison FAQ

Have you stayed at Nozo Hotel or Shin Furano Prince Hotel?

No. The author has a separate Hokkaido ski-planning record and a separate early-summer Biei Blue Pond visit, but has stayed at neither target and has not tested either room, bath, breakfast, ski route, locker or service.

Does every Nozo room have a bathtub?

No. The official room table checked on 2026-09-13 listed a bathtub for the Junior Suite. The other seven listed room types said shower. Require the complete room and matching confirmation when a bathtub is essential.

Is Nozo's Sugi Spa a private natural onsen?

Do not claim that. The official page described a shared, gender-separated, hot-spring-like bathing area with hot and cold baths and saunas. That does not establish a private room bath or a natural spring source.

Does a Shin Furano Prince room include Shisai no Yu and a lift pass?

Do not assume either. The official bath page separately listed hotel-guest charges and hours when checked, while passes, lessons, rentals and lift operations are separate. Confirm each item for the exact stay date.

How should I compare the real cost of the two bases?

Use the same dates, guests, room level, meal inclusion and cancellation tier. Compare final tax-inclusive totals, then add bath charges, transport, parking, luggage and ski-zone transfers. Do not count an unconfirmed view, bath, lift or shuttle right as value.

Safe travels.
