Open The Tower first when central resort positioning and a wider choice of standard or family room configurations matter. Current official summaries separate standard rooms at 24–50㎡ from family rooms at 32–58㎡, with exact beds and capacity controlled by the complete room.
Open RISONARE first when indoor space, a scenic jet bath and a private sauna are hard requirements. Current official information says every RISONARE suite is at least 100㎡, but that is not a quality ranking and does not make every layout or view identical.

Enter identical dates, room count, adults and every child's real age. Compare only rooms that legally fit the same group with equivalent meals and cancellation; never compare a room-only refundable rate with a non-refundable meal plan or a different occupancy.
If one property has no qualifying complete room for the real date, there is no two-way decision. Do not substitute a generic Tomamu list, another Hoshino property or a different date merely to keep the article symmetrical.
The Tower: central location does not mean every facility is next door
The current official room summary separates standard, family and special configurations. Standard rooms are 24–50㎡ and family rooms are 32–58㎡, while the exact complete room controls capacity, beds, bathroom and layout.
The resort-centre position is useful, but it does not promise that every restaurant, bath, ski lift or activity is beside the room or open on the travel date. Match the exact room and real route instead of inheriting another category's photograph or amenity.
RISONARE: every suite is large, but the jet bath is not natural onsen
Current official information describes an all-suite hotel with every suite at least 100㎡, a scenic jet bath and a private sauna. Detailed room types still separate 100㎡ and 120㎡, capacity, beds, bedrooms and floors.
A scenic jet bath is not a natural hot spring. Scenic wording also does not guarantee identical direction, floor, cloud sea, snowfall or visibility; count only the complete suite name and written confirmation.
Meals and resort facilities are separate booking rights
Tomamu restaurants sit in several areas and use different meal periods and reservation rules. Count breakfast, dinner, a named venue or a voucher only when the selected rate, checkout and confirmation state the same inclusion.
Room booking does not itself include a lift pass, lesson, rental, Unkai gondola, Ice Village, Mina-Mina Beach, shared bath or seasonal event. Each item depends on season, weather, maintenance, capacity or a separate reservation.
Seasonal operation: both hotels must be open on the same date
Tomamu publishes winter and green-season information separately, and the two hotels can have different operating periods. Room availability does not prove that both hotels or any seasonal activity operate on the same date.
Recheck the real stay date on the current official operating page and the exact Trip.com inventory. If only one property operates or has a qualifying room, the comparison collapses to one candidate; cloud, snow, autumn colour and Ice Village cannot be inferred from room sale.
Tomamu Station shuttle is not a JR or airport ticket
Current official access says arriving express-train passengers can tell staff whether they are checking into The Tower or RISONARE and use the hotel shuttle from Tomamu Station. That last segment is not a JR reserved seat, airport bus or private transfer.
Save the train or bus booking, arrival service, hotel shuttle, luggage and ski-equipment rules separately. A hotel room or ticket machine at The Tower cannot guarantee a train seat, airport connection, cash support or assistance at the unmanned station.
Final checkout: match every field and remove the duplicate
Put property ID, English name, Nakatomamu address, complete room, beds, capacity, area, floor or bedrooms, bathroom, sauna, meals, real ages, taxes, tax-inclusive total, payment, cancellation and travel-date operation into one comparison.
Choose the qualifying room that fits the trip, pay once and release the other same-night room. Store the hotel, JR or bus, restaurant, lift, lesson, rental and activity confirmations separately; one confirmation never creates the others.

Is the RISONARE scenic jet bath a private natural hot spring?

Does a Tomamu hotel room include lifts, Unkai Terrace, restaurants or airport transport?
Do not assume it does. Lift passes, lessons, rentals, gondolas, seasonal activities, restaurant reservations, JR seats and airport transport need their own written inclusion, ticket, reservation or operating check.
How do I avoid holding both hotels for one night?
